An Immersive Sound Performance by Akiv Wizardly at SLEA

On Friday, August 28, from 12 PM to 2 PM SLT, the SLEA Peace Project, curated by Wizardoz Chrome, will become more than a place to visit and observe.

For two hours, I invite you to experience PEACE through sound.

PEACE: Seen • Heard • Felt is not intended as a traditional DJ set. It is an immersive musical journey created especially for the atmosphere of the Peace exhibition and its open-air garden setting at SLEA.

Surrounded by nature, art, quiet garden spaces and intimate gazebo-style seating, visitors will be able to walk, sit, listen, dance, reflect - or simply allow the experience to unfold around them.

The performance begins in a world of silence, fragments and memory. Piano, cello, distant voices, experimental jazz and atmospheric sound slowly begin to form a pulse. Heartbeats become rhythm. Footsteps become percussion. Darkness gradually opens into warmth.

As the journey continues, the sound changes.

Jazz meets cinematic textures.
Human voices emerge and disappear.
Organic rhythms begin to breathe.
Saxophone, piano, strings and percussion gradually bring movement back into the space.

And eventually, reflection gives way to hope, connection and life.

There will also be a moment when the audience becomes part of the work itself. I will ask one simple question:

If peace were one word for you, what would it be?

Perhaps home.
Perhaps freedom.
Perhaps safety, love, silence, tomorrow - or something entirely different.

Those words, offered by the people present, will become another layer of PEACE.

One of the central ideas behind this performance is that peace does not have to mean stillness.

There can be rhythm in peace.
There can be movement.
There can even be dancing.

Because joy does not erase what came before. Sometimes, simply continuing to live, create, love and dance is its own powerful statement.

The musical journey will move from silence toward sound, from fragmentation toward harmony, from darkness toward light.

And perhaps, by the end, PEACE will no longer be something we have simply looked at.

Perhaps we will have heard it.

Perhaps we will have felt it.
